| dc.description.abstract | In the Volyn region, the spread of HIV infection has become epidemic in recent years. There is a rapid increase in the number of people who have sexually transmitted infections, which has become dominant among HIV transmission routes. Long-term use of highly active antiretroviral therapy, in spite of incomplete suppression of HIV replication, contributes to the normalization of the main pathogenetically significant indicators of the functioning of the immune system: an increase in the CD4 + helper subpopulation of T lymphocytes and an increase in the immunoregulatory index. | |
