| dc.abstract.alternative | The family of Tolloczko trace their ancestry hack to Polotsk and Lithuanian chronicles of the XIV and XV centuries. In Rakovitsy (the Brest region) they settled at the beginning of the XVIII century. The article says about the brightest representatives of the dynasty. So, the professor of chemistry, Stanislav Tolloczko, greatly contributed to physical chemistry. The electrical engineer, Ludwig Tolloczko, was the creator of the first telephone system in St. Petersburg. Far before World War I Tudor Tolloczko developed an advanced for the time farming estate in the environs of Brest. A number of other interesting facts about the life of this family, still unknown in Belarus until recent time, are also cited in the article. | ru_RU |
